Unlimited Listeners
Plans are limited to 1000 simultaneous connections. Plans are suitable for commercial broadcasters. For more than 1000 simultaneous connections, contact us for a custom quote.
Unmetered Bandwidth
Unlimited Bandwidth is supplied under a Fair Use Policy whereby your radio can use as much bandwidth as required unless it affects the performance of other users on shared servers. If your radio reaches this point and is seen as a high-volume server we will contact the customer to discuss options and we will cap Listener limits to less number.
AUTODJ
Some broadcasters prefer to host their content in the “cloud”. The cloud is just a nickname for Internet hosted servers. Cloud broadcasting uses a feature called Auto DJ. Rather than having dedicated computers or software, you can upload your MP3 sound files to your Auto DJ account in the cloud on our network and broadcast from there. While you don’t have as much control over nuances like audio processing or complex music rotations, it is a good way to create an automated broadcast solution without needing any additional software, hardware or dedicated Internet connection.
What is live streaming?
Live streaming is the distribution of your content over the Internet to your audience in real time. Most AM/FM stations use live streaming because they create their own content and simulcast it on the Internet. There are several ways to create and distribute content. For live streaming all you need is a PC or Mac with an audio or mic input, Radio Broadcast software (Many free or paid options available) and an Internet connection. Simply plug your audio mixer/DJ console into the audio input or USB on your computer, turn on the software and it will send the stream to us. Do you provide SHOUTcast or Icecast streaming?
We provide only SHOUTcast streaming servers (v1 & v2 for LIVE BROADCASTING, v2 for AutoDJ BROADCASTING).
How do people listen to my station?
We provide you with a SHOUTcast station web page, also we provide HTTPS URL stream and TuneIn integration for your website. Your content can play on many different platforms including pop-up or embedded players on your website, on apps for iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows, phones including most devices, tablets, Internet radios, iPods, iPads, Tablets, PC, Mac, Bluetooth and more.
What type of Internet connection do I need?
You will need a DSL/Cable (or faster) Internet connection. We do not provide these services. If you don’t already have an Internet connection you will need to contact an Internet Service Provider (ISP) like Xfinity, Centurylink. Verizon, AT&T, etc. Most home broadband connections are usually fast enough for streaming.
How can I save $$ on my Radio Stream Live plan?
Radio Stream Live plans are month-to-month and yearly. If you opt for the yearly plan, you’ll save 20%.
